EPISODE 038 – WHAT WE DO IN CASTLEVANIA

LISTEN ON ITUNES | SOUNDCLOUD | YOUTUBE

On today’s episode, Lady Valkyrie AKA Mariet wanders into our lair to discuss the hit Netflix series Castlevania and its video game origins. This series puts a stake through our fangirl hearts with its portrayals of crying softbois, undying love and men in too-tight leather pants. We’re not always hot for vampires, but when we are, it’s vamps with flowing locks and estranged relationships with their fathers (no, we’re not just talking about the church).

  1. Bună, prietenele mele ( that means Hello my friends in Romanian) l am an old time listener, a mega Star Wars fan, and a vampire connoisseur, but it is my first time commenting. Thank you so much for your metas, you are the best. I was so amused by the way the Romanian names are pronounced in this show. I live in a small town in Romania, in the region of Wallachia, about 60 miles from Braila and hearing you talk about it was hysterical. It’s a small world, we are indeed citizens of the universe. I want to tell you how much I apreciate your thoughtfulness and your dedication. I loved every minute of Castlevania and just like you I am an Alucard fangirl. I also love the other Alucard, from the anime Hellsing. The snark, oh, the snark! I must apologize if my English is not the best. I await for each podcast with bated breath. Thank you!
